OP - Good luck, the above is mainly just my projecting my thoughts that any group that people can buy into for a couple of dozen dollars can't think of itself as very high quality or worthwhile.

Completely agree with this sentiment - I think they should have just closed the group/rights to the Red Lions for good instead of selling it until it became a shadow of what it was.

I don't think it'll ever be what it used to be and I think that's a function of how the internet has changed.

Not all members were at that level. Yes the owner, as far as we know, was a high-ranking government official. I would not get carried away and state that about the entire group.

Not sure if OP even has the right to use the userbar considering he never was in the original group.
And the fact that my animated Red Lions userbar is being used is questionable. It's common practice to rebrand once a crew is bought to respect the legacy.
