Please bear with me, I'm not a laptop person, never have been. But now I got this second hand Lenovo ThinkPad 570 as a freebie couple of months ago. The only use I have for it is to practice windows 10 for my upcoming Comptia A+ exam.
It was working fine until yesterday but suddenly now it has some kind of keyboard issue. Like I was holding the delete button it deletes constantly until I push a few buttons. It then stops.......then randomly starts deleting again. Absolute nightmare.
When I load up the BIOS it's beeping constantly very loudly and wouldn't navigate in the menu. Pushing buttons randomly would stop the beeping eventually but not for a long time.
It doesn't feel like one specific button is stuck and there was no drink spilled on it.
Do I need to replace the keyboard (ain't cheap) or maybe someone knows a trick or workaround?

For my most dispassionate advice, use an external keyboard exactly like the ones you use for your desktop PC, whether it's Bluetooth or not, it doesn't change anything, it just gives you a thousand times greater reliability and also a good work experience (I'd die if I tried to use keyboards of a laptop to work). Then detach the keyboard from your desktop pc and take it to where it is, if instead it is a problem with the pc itself try going to the official support forum for some solutions.

I'm not sure why I didn't think of that. Probably because the beeping already happens at BIOS level so I assumed the USB keyboard wouldn't override.
Anyways, I connected the USB keyboard. The issue is still ongoing but it is a lot more manageable. If only I could disable the laptop keyboard in Windows then all would be solved.
Is that possible do you think?

Obviously there is a way to disable the keyboard from Windows, at least so you can use only one without interfering with other keys and find yourself much better. In any case I found this guide on how to do it, try if these notions can be useful for you, if they don't I think a little research is enough to be able to find what you are looking for. Thanks for all the replies. Tried everything but nothing worked.
Out of curiosity I loaded up a Tails live USB and in tails there are no issues whatsoever.
So it looks like I need to go ahead with a fresh installation of Windows and see if that helps.
