Dumb ideas 2023 edition. Inspire yourselves.

Same computer, any room.
1. Use Hyper-V on Windows to host a remote desktop over LAN using GPU power so it works as normal.
2. Add mice, keyboards, raspberry pi's, and monitors in different rooms of your house.
3. Use facial recognition to recognize what room you are in and it will automatically connect using the RDP file as you move around your house.

Water alert system V1.
1. Simply sketch out a design of your garden on a breadboard.
2. Add LEDs to the breadboard and a wifi chip.
3. Use micro boards in the dirt/ground where your garden is in spots from your breadboard.
4. Micro boards will alert you to how wet the dirt is to let you know if your garden needs watering by lighting up which parts need it.

Water alert system V2.
1. Small device hangs over the side of the bathtub.
2. Pings your phone or works like a fire alarm when the water reaches that level so you know you can turn your bath off.

Feel like at least one of these will already exist but regardless, they came to me individually and separately.
Water alert system v1 sounds really cool. I can imagine the popping lights at summer nighttime amazing. I know that there are electrical current amplifiers for the light bulbs in your home. I wonder what light show it will produce if you can make it so the more it glows the more water the area it needs
Let's explore the possibilities of the universe and make this world our playground
I like water alert system v2

For Water alert system V2 you can get IoT flow control valves for improved integration.

could go the extra mile and have mini gear / rotation device attached behind the faucet or dial so that when the water dips below x, it will slightly refill itself. could also add temperature reader to determine how hot the water should be added
