Really? Avoid free Ebooks? I spoke to a hacker on tinychat that said they're great for learning if you can understand them properly. Is there any certain ones to avoid?

I meant more in reference to the "quick buck" ebooks -- the worst you'll get from free technical material is outdated and irrelevant material. Very little harm there, as long as you don't install anything.
