As a result of closing down egg lotteries I have opted to increase the odds of earnings eggs though posting. You have a 10 chance of earning an emerald.

This is the exact odds of winning each egg currently...

Gold: 0.2%
Sapphire: 1.8%
Ruby: 3%
Emerald: 5%

So overall a 10% chance winning one of the eggs with each post. Make 10 posts in a day, likely you'll be getting an egg. My guess is that some of you will be earning 2-3 eggs a day very easily.

Great way to balance out the lotto change and also provide even more incentive for actively posting if someone wants to give the game a try or simply keep playing it. These changes should without a doubt make some more people feel it’s worth trying the game out and interest them in doing so more than before.

Absolutely. Now the game feels less pay-to-win and will reward top posters with the eggs. The next HUM reset should be interesting with no egg lotteries.
Maybe now we can get extra eggs hard-boiled for a permanent award, or maybe allow you to convert them to bytes if you're not interested in playing HUM.

100% and as it should be. Hackuman should just be an extra thing to do on the site and that is fueled solely by actively posting on the site, not how many bytes you have and are willing to throw at lottos for instance. The hard-boiled idea (which I think Omni liked if I remember correctly), I completely forgot about and hope gets introduced, especially now that the eggs have to be earned first.

As for a way to sell your eggs automatically for a set price to the game if you don't want them, I guess that's up to Omni. The main issues there are 1. The ranges for eggs have been all over the place in the past when it comes to lottos due to multiple variables and so I'm not sure how he'd come to a conclusion on what are fair prices for each of them and 2. Regardless of the prices, it could lead to people trying to basically abuse that ability of selling for X amount of guaranteed bytes by posting up a storm and of lower quality. Obviously the latter could be monitored and action could be taken against those people, but it would probably just be better and easier not to provide them a reason to do it in the first place.

Oh shit, congrats haha. Well, lucky if you have any interest in playing the game. Not so lucky if you normally would have just put it in lotto and since it means missing out on what would have no doubt been a good chunk of bytes.

I think Hard-Boiling eggs would be at a Bytes cost and based on egg rarity. For example hard-boiling a golden egg might cost 100k Bytes.

If lotto is closed, what if we could stack eggs? They would still expire after a week but stacking would allow us to feed our eggs to the hums of the same color for better stats
