Are you guys getting an Apple Vision Pro straight away?

I have high hopes for it. I want to use it on my computers mostly, but I'm sure other features will make me use them. It just seems like the new laptop is here.
Absolutely zero chance I would even consider buying one. Just too expensive for something I have no real practical need for.

Oh, that's sad you won't get lost in the new spiritual world. Well, if you change your mind I'll be there.

I mean if I had infinite resources, sure I'd grab one just because, but that's not where I am. I think they could be pretty cool, just too expensive for normal people to acquire just for fun.
Can't wait to spend all our money on something we probably don't really need.
Nah i don't think so. Don't get me wrong - the tech looks sick but for $3500 it's a no from me.
I regularly purchase the most recent consumer-level VR/AR headsets every couple of years to assess their progress, but often return them after a week (thanks Amazon). The latest headset I tried was the Meta Quest Pro, which, while slightly underwhelming, could still be considered primarily a gaming console. Although the face and eye tracking features were interesting, they didn't significantly change the experience. For VR/AR to become truly mainstream, a considerable leap in technology is required, and I'm not convinced that Apple has achieved that. Rather than merely adding new features to existing technology, very significant improvements in weight reduction, text readability, and regular updates are necessary. I think companies keeping at VR is good as a whole for the tech, just i'm not interested in a VR gaming device.
I’ll be waiting until they release a VR sex simulation game and then i’ll consider it.

Already got a homemade fleshlight that i made out of a pringles can, sponge and kitchen gloves. Just need good content and a engaging experience.

I think it looks pretty awesome but for that price, no I will not be getting it when it comes out. I'll most likely wait a bit and get the Vision 2 SE or whatever when they eventually make more affordable options.
As much as I’d love to feel like Tony Stark, I couldn’t justify spending $3500 on it.
Staff will never reach out to you off-site. We only communicate on HF.

What even is it? I don't have any Apple products just because I noticed they cost one third more for the same specs as the alternatives.
No chance. Maybe when version 5 is out then ill invest in a second hand v1 haha
