This actually seems like a pretty solid streaming site compared to most new ones that are filled with viruses.
I tested out a new movie that was just released in HD on other popular streaming sites (the new Transformers), and everything loaded well with no lag. I only have 3 complaints with this site: 1.) I don't like how the sites HTML is written to send an embedded pop-up confirmation for whether you want to continue where you left off previously. You can hide a lot of things behind innocent looking HTML pop-ups like that for one, and two you just don't need them. Most other streaming sites will just remember the spot you left off automatically and will place you there once you go back to it. 2.) Every single time you go to watch anything on this site you'll have an ad at the bottom of the movie that you can't close seeing it's all one image that links to a totally different page, even when clicking the X in the corner. The ad links to some random site with a base domain that redirects to Google without any URI. You'll have to Inspect Element and remove it each time you load up a movie or show, and that would be very annoying to deal with for me. (images below) 3.) Last but not least, they only offer one video streaming source which kinda sucks when most sites offer around 3-5 different choices in case one goes down/isn't working. -> movie start screen & ad: (Click to View) -> video server sources: (Click to View) -> using IE to remove ad: (Click to View) -> clean video once ad is gone: (Click to View) -> Malwarebytes ad block page/reason: (Click to View) -> Ad domain (Google redirect): (Click to View)- link: https://ointmentapathetic.com -> Ad link: (would advise against clicking this) Spoiler (Click to View) (Jul 12, 2023 03:46 PM)Dave™ Wrote: Hey guys, just wanted to share this website to watch movies/tv shows online for free. Hoping to find movies and shows that are not listed on Netflix.

Yeah the one source thing kinda sucks it was down for like 30 minutes on Friday when I wanted to watch a movie. I was having an issue with tv shows where sometimes on a later season it would get an error loading but that seems to have been fixed, and the ad at the bottom of the screen I am able to close (not sure if that is also a recent fix). Didn't know you could hide anything behind that HTML so thank you for keeping me vigilant. Finally, thank you for including images to remove the ad at the bottom of the screen (in case anybody else had issues closing it). While this site is definitely going in my rotation for free online sites, do you have any other sites you would suggest? Always need a backup (especially if the one source on this site goes down). EDIT: So your post got me curious, and I found that depending on the movie/tv show there are more sources. For this episode of black mirror there were 3. The first source (pro) is the one that has the HTML alert for resuming playback. The second source (hydrax) had a different resume button, which seemed to be a popup rather than an alert. Do you happen to know if this type of resume feature is also susceptible to the same type of attacks or is that safer? The third source had no resume feature, and restarted playback each time. -> additional video sources: (Click to View) -> Hydrax source resume popup: (Click to View) (Jul 12, 2023 03:46 PM)Dave™ Wrote: Hey guys, just wanted to share this website to watch movies/tv shows online for free. Oh yeah man, always be vigilant as to what you're clicking on. You can hide quite a lot behind HTML very easily, especially to the untrained eye. As for other site suggestions, the absolute best streaming site I have ever used (and I've been using it since literally 2014 when they first launched as "LetMeWatchThis.com" Check out https://primewire.id/ - by far my favorite streaming site to use. Never lags, never offline, and as long as you have a good adblocker like uBlock Origin for example; there's absolutely no pop-ups or any other garbage like that. I use Mixdrop quite often on Primewire actually. *also don't worry about the Hydrax source resume popup, that's not a javascript-based popup. It's a very useful feature, however I don't like clicking anything extra on streaming sites. On Primewire it'll automatically start you where you left off in a TV show or movie, down to the second. It's back online - it's common for free streaming sites like this to go offline for a short time due to many different possible reasons; most of which have to do with hosting or their source API. Idk if somebody can explain this to me but pics below: A fast and easy way to see if a website is actually online or not is to just use command prompt tbh with you. Just simply open your CMD, and type: Code ping [URL] (no https:// & no brackets)Image example: (Click to View) (Jul 27, 2023 04:25 AM)Reporter Wrote: They can't fix any buffering or video issues as they are not a host, But couldn't they fix issues like buffering if they used a better host and source API? I don't know all the ins and outs of hosting a streaming site but I'd have to imagine there's an obvious reason why some are almost always online with fast load times, and some are often offline with laggy load times, right? Also I think it's awesome that https://vidsrc.me/ happens to just have a whole ass movie as an example of their source API lol: Literally hosting Iron Man 3 as their example 💀 (Click to View) (Jul 28, 2023 05:17 AM)Cooligan Wrote: But couldn't they fix issues like buffering if they used a better host and source API? Of course, There's a reason why 2embed / vidcloud api is the largest one in the market However OP picked vidsrc as their API, however updating to another API should be seamless as they all function on the same way IMDB / TMDB ID + url |
