This method is about using a TamperMonkey Script to supposedly get a refund from BitPay after making a payment.

This is COMPLETELY FAKE. The scripts changes the address you're sending the crypto to the initial user(the scammer) and you will never get any refund back, you're literally just sending money to his wallet.

Beware everyone, especially new users who might get caught into this trick, absolutely do not send any crypto or use that method at all, you will only lose your money.

I remember this bud making accounts called "Contracts" "Contracts Updates" etc and spamming pms with the exact same scam.

This is excellent evidence that a lot of scammers are extremely dumb and those who get scammed fail to do even the tiniest bit of research before giving away their money.

I've read somewhere else that one of these addresses they use to receive the money has over 10,000$ balance so you never know, I guess many newbs would get scammed.

There are shitload of stupid people roaming around with free Internet waiting to make thousand dollars per day.

You can just report latest post with explanation and it will be dealt with. At least thats what im usually doing in such situations.
