How to find the model of Firewall in a local network?

Hello,
In a local network, clients connecting to the Internet via some devices like the FortiGate:
Code
Local Network --> FortiGate --> Internet
How can I find the model of it?

Thank you.
Scan the network and find out the IP of that device and check if they have a web login page or panel where it will show the version or model of that fortinent firewall?

You can also scan the network or IP with nmap , find out the port u can check version from there with the -V flag and from the version look up on google to see what model matches it.

Don' 100% work just my idea on information gathering.

Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I don't know the IP address of that device. How to find it? Traceroute?
What kind of access do you have?

Are you able to check ARP tables for MAC addresses?

Conduct an IP scan.

Advanced IP Scanner if you're on Windows.

Either is fine.

You can always try nmap my man. Its also available on windows. Check ARP table I think u can do it via CMD.

arp -a or something , u can google the command , I don't really remember it tho.

Its to check the mac addresses of all devices connected to your network / WIFI / Router.

Hello,

The internal network uses VLANs. I did:

Code
$ sudo arp -a
? (172.21.50.76) at 9c:b6:54:17:80:1c [ether] on eth1
? (172.21.50.33) at 9c:5c:8e:8f:28:11 [ether] on eth1
? (172.21.50.125) at 74:d4:35:9c:e0:18 [ether] on eth1
? (172.21.50.62) at 4c:00:82:0d:0d:dd [ether] on eth1
? (172.21.50.44) at 10:60:4b:13:2e:92 [ether] on eth1
? (172.21.50.58) at a0:48:1c:68:82:f1 [ether] on eth1

But, It shows computers around me not firewall.
Hello,
I would be grateful if hackers could help me.

Thank you.
