How do I hide my browsing?

Hello,
In an internal network, they monitor web browsing through firewalls (Fortinet and FortiGate). I have two questions:

1- If I use VPN or Tor, can they still see my browsing?

2- Can they capture usernames and passwords for email and other websites?

Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.
When you work at a company, then how can you use another network? Your computer is connected to that company's network.
What are the advantages of using a virtual machine with a VPN? Why not just VPN?
How about Tor?

Try to follow this method and see if it helps.
  • Firstly use the Tor Browser included in Tails OS(USB Version).
  • Please make sure you're connected to the Tor network.
  • Now enable HTTPS and disable JavaScript when possible.
  • Always try to avoid sharing personal information.
  • Always configure Tails to use bridges if necessary.

Note: Please be aware of your organization's policies and legal considerations. This is only for informational purposes.

You can give it a try and see if it works and helps you bypassing the web interface.

Thanks again.
On the company network, I don't have access to those devices. Do you have experience or can you ask someone?

Welcome friend, I hope it will help you in a way or another.
Don't use VPNs. VPNs only encrypt your connection but they are very easy to detect. Most secure a mobile proxies.

- Use a good linux distro
- Use tor with a mobile proxy or an anti detect browser with a mobile proxy.

Route the hole traffic through a proxy not only your browser traffic.

VPNS do good but proxys are better. Onion if you want 100% secure and sandbox for better protection

Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.
Onion? Do you mean Tor?
Maybe if you buy an RDP and use the internet through there, that should do the trick. You will be working on a different network

Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.
Do you mean to connect to a server and surf the web there?
