Oh man that's how it was with my last job. I was salary and I never left the office on time. Hell we had an incident where they forced 3 guys to work from 8am to 3am the next day and then DEMANDED the same people show up to work at 8am or be fired. I hope you find something better for you and the fam.

Yea I went on 3 - 4 interviews and they always did the same shit. "Well we can start you at 40-60k, and talk about going up in 6 months". How about pay me what we both know this job is worth?

anything less than 42k is under $20 an hour.


I use to make 80-120k a year at these other companies. I get starting over, but you aren't getting an entry level employee so why should I take entry level pay?

Yea and places like that act like we're idiots that will take the pay-cut, and still be expected to do Tier 3 support on a Tier 1 salary.

You get hired at Tier 1 and given Tier 3 responsibilities in the month, and promise the pay will come at yearly review where you are given 2-8% and expected to be "HAPPY" for it.
