7 Months Sober!

Today officially marks 7 months into my sobriety streak.

I started tracking this from when I cold turkey quit drinking.

I wasn't in the deep end but definitely standing on the diving board....🙃

I stopped smoking a few months before that and haven't done any other drugs in quite some time.

Feelin' pretty good about myself lately! 💯

You must be feeling more energetic now from what I have heard? How easy was to quit smoking? I am not able to quit it at all.

Yes, a lot more energetic and peaceful.

For me to stop smoking weed was extremely difficult but just something I had to do.

I stopped smoking cigarettes years ago and turned to vapes (fuck that - extremely toxic) but now I use Zyns (nicotine pouches). I am going to ween myself off of these soon but as of today it is the only vice I use. 👍

I am planning to start taking nicotine chewing gums to stop cigarettes.
Good for you! Keep up the great work.

I've been weed-free for over 7 years and quit smoking cigarettes 15 months ago. Everything's going well. 😄 Keep it up! Life has so much more to offer than those two.

Thanks for the kind words!

Also congratulations to you on your sobriety journey. I wish you the best with it, brother.

I would highly recommend checking out Zyn Nicotine Pouches. Way better than the gum and they are just a great alternative to smoking/vaping.

Stopped weed, alcohol and back in college: you are really turning things around.
Just think about all that money you save.

Congratz mate, going strong, keep up the good work :3
I also went cold turkey back in -09, used to smoke 2 packs/day so I know the feeling all too well.

Wow, 7 months is a significant achievement! What activities or hobbies have you picked up during this time that have helped you stay on track and enjoy life without alcohol and other substances?

Thanks for the kudos man!

I started in the gym 7 months ago when I stopped drinking and that’s been a huge help to my overall health. I have also picked up reading more.

Congratulations, that's certainly quite a long mile that you've achieved. Just think about all the money that you've saved from not buying alcohol
Fighting yourself is probably the hardest thing you can do in your life.

You did it and won, will be expecting 1 year sober in 5 month from you brother ✌

Stay Strong.
