It has been a few years since I have watched any anime and I want to go back on a full arc.
I want to rewatch shows I have seen but also add some new ones in there.
Here is my current watch list:
(Rewatch)
-Attack on Titan
-Samurai Champloo
-Cowboy Bepop
-Death Note
(First Time)
-Jujitsu Kaisen
-Hunter x Hunter
-Initial D
-My Hero Academia
-Demon Slayer
Any recommendations or which ones to start first?

Demonslayer. It's such a good show IMO. It's a very popular anime that I recommend to all beginners

I'm not critic.
but as stories go, I think most popular shows don't have bulletproof story.
They aren't bad by any means, but Demon Slayer for example.
If that show was done by an average studio, nobody would have gave a shit about it and that's a fact.
Most of Demon Slayer fans love the animation, if you take that out of the equation you have very shallow story at best.
If I had to pick the best story out of those, I would put HxH on top. pretty simple start then it evolves as we go and it's pretty reasonable.
My Hero Academia is pretty cool but I think it snowballed so fast (I have watched all seasons), I love it but I think they could have made more arcs for training and improvements without being boring.
I feel that some characters were made strong at some point of the story because of their arcs then they became average by later seasons.
JJK I think strikes the perfect balance of not relying exactly one one thing.
Never watched Initial D so don't know anything about it.
so personally I would say
HxH > Hero Acedmia > JJK > DS

Thanks for your input, brother. It's good to see you on here, as well!
My friends that have watched all of these already said very similar things to you. I like the order you put them in because I am going to kind of watch "worst to best" as I go. I definitely love good animation but the better story backgrounds are what pique my interest the most.
I will update this thread as I knock shows off.
Currently just restarted AoT and man, it is such a cool show to me. 😎

Surprisingly, most shows have to change somethings or drop some details from the original material (manga mostly)
but from what I have heard and seen (I have read a big chunk of the manga), the adaptation is pretty faithful to original material.
Man, I would love to have sometime to watch all of AOT again.
Perhaps next time there's a holiday, I will pre-download all seasons and binge watch.
Hopefully will have someone to watch with 😆

Definitely do it, bro! It has been a few years since I have watched and so I have forgotten just bits here and there. It's my favorite anime so far, for sure! 👍
