I want to start hacking, anyone got good tips / tricks?

It's something that takes time to learn, there are lots of good resources online but make sure you don't skip over the fundamentals. Site's like tryhackme are quite newbie friendly.

these two are great sites for learning hacking, along with https://google.com and https://youtube.com

i would like to ask though, what got you interested in hacking? did you play watch dogs and want to hack shit from your phone? or did you watch Mr Robot and now you want to become a hacker? usually finding the answer to this question will give me the information i need to provide oyu with the right resources.

Then in this case, you are probably hoping to find some application for phone or computer that can just hack any device you want.

This is not possible in the real world, not without a zero day exploit at least.

Though if you are genuinely interested in the type of hacks/exploits you see in those videogames/series, i would again very much recommend starting your journey at https://tryhackme.com and https://hackthebox.eu

These two sites will help you get a grip of what is possible and what is not possible, and im sorry to say but most of the stuff you seen in videogames or movies isnt possible in the real world.

still, if you become an advanced exploit developer and reverse engineer, and find some complex-ass kernel level zero day exploit which gives you access to any Windows device in the world, then you could technically and possibly create some super cool looking, green text GUI having, world map with traces going to different countries looking malware, and essentially hack any Windows computer on the internet.

Btw, that shit is not easy, specifically exploit development and reverse engineering, these are probably two of the most complex subjects in hacking and require years of studying and practice.
