It's still in early stages so not sure how much the accrued tokens value will amount to, but they're claiming that all participants during the invite-only stage are earning towards a piece of network ownership for the wider release. This is why I think it's a great opportunity to get involved early.

Their policies basically state that they loan your IP out, alongside 0.3% of unused network resources, to data scientists which have been vetted by the Wynd Network.

Tried it..it just couldn't connect, even when trying different networks. There is no information about payout or such..
Delete my account after 15 minutes. If anyone else gets this to work and has some proof I will gladly reinstall it.

You're the only one that I've seen report this issue. Works fine for me and the 10k+ people in the Discord channel. Probably best to avoid if you're experiencing issues already.

Just couldn't connect.. therefor cant make any earnings. But if I'm the only one I will gladly try again and see if it works or not.. ty for reply!

I did notice some issues with connecting last night around the same time I saw some people in the Discord discussing points disappearing. They were saying there was some changes being made to the site that potentially affected it. I was able to reconnect again after about 30 minutes.

As far as information about payout, right now there is none at all. Shares are given in what seems to be so far an unlisted and unbacked altcoin. I've been unable to find any more information about it myself, however I don't mind letting it run in the background and seeing where I end up with it. Might end up being worthless or making a few bucks but it doesn't hurt either way.

Skepticism surrounding how earned tokens will translate into actual profits when the network goes live are perfectly reasonable. I actually think the Wynd Network doesn't even know this themselves yet, so most early adopters will have the same doubts.

I think for me the premise of the economy seems to make logical sense, and so I hold some optimism it may playout to be favourable for those that get involved early. The emergence of GenAI has put huge demand on resources to support the ingestion of AI training data. Much of this training data is online and therefore difficult for data scientists to automate the scraping of, due to common network blocks that prevent harmless bot activity originating from standalone IP addresses. This presents a logical market for the sale and usage of residential proxies, which I think the Wynd Network have tried to capitalise on with the Grass platform.

For anyone that has deployed the Chrome extension already, there is an update. It is now 3.0.0.

To update it, go Manage Extensions > activate Developer Mode > and click Update in the top-left.

Once updated, when you click the extension it may briefly present a little black box pop up. To resolve just disable then re-enable the extension.
