Used to love a private server just so I could spawn myself the best items and gold. PK every minute and not worry about losing wealth. I can’t actually PK now a days because it’s changed so much.

That was definitely one of if not the best part of private servers or if you were into PKing at all anyway. Just being able to go and do so with meta stats, gear you can easily get, not having to sweat anything, etc.

Yes definitely! Would you say LMS is a little like that? Minus all the respawning whatever you want of course.

I personally haven't played it, but I've seen plenty of gameplay from streamers playing it and yeah I think that's a pretty fair way to look at it. You just go in, get provided everything to put you on a balanced playing field versus others, and then you duke it out.

Prime days are over tbh but it's still a game with a massive player base to this day.

I still see plenty about it, Some of my family members played it when it was way more popular but i didn't like it so much then. Kind of a bummer as I have grown as a gamer!

Yeah it's always hard for games still going after a long ass time to compete with their "prime" days as that period of time is normally earlier on in it's existence, when so much of it was new to everyone, and when we didn't really have anything to expect, compare it to, etc. The time in gaming / technology overall can play a factor with some instances of this with games too. Anyway, the game is still kicking pretty good nowadays and is a lot of fun or for us OG players at least haha.

Totally agree with prime days being over. I’ll never forget the time I got scammed for a full set of rune and a complete cannon back in the day.
It’s never too late to jump in though. There are so many ways to play the game and still enjoy as long as you don’t get wrapped up in the XP/GP/HR jumble.
