After 2 years at this place I got 2 weeks off approved and I timed it so the first day would be my payday.

Go to check my payslip for my first week off and payroll fucked up and my leave was put through as unpaid instead of Annual leave and head office said there’s nothing they can do this week as they payout to all staff at once but I’ll get it next week.

So I have another week off with $30 to spare wooo!

Not sure where you live but there are a few apps that will give you an advance or "loan" and you can pay it back once you get paid.

Damn that sucks. I can't believe they aren't able to process an off cycle check. Most companies have a procedure in place in case there's an issue with payroll.

This happened to me once and my company just sent a wire transfer but I had to pay a $20 fee. It showed up in my account the next day.

Totally understandable. Finally getting that time off and you're limited on what all you can do, get, etc given the pay situation. Definitely sucks.
