Attention people wearing silvers!!

Hello, I'm just wondering if I shoulda got a full silver chain instead of sterling silver (925), it's pretty weighted so I figured sterling would be more durable, but whenever people ask if thats fully silver I say nah it's sterling silver so 92.5% silver.

it's a 550mm long chain, 3.5mm width, 1mm depth if that's relevant.

Do you have silver or sterling silver, why?
Bought one silver for friend along time ago cuz it look nice, didnt mow the difference tbh, but i dontthink its that big different anyway

Mine is full silver and I've worn it every day for like 4-5 years and it's still in very good shape; although I do make sure to clean it every so often and I look after it :D
No jewelry for me. I can't stand the feeling on my skin. I only wear my smartwatch when I'm at work. Otherwise that thing sits on the counter on charge all weekend.
Don't fall for a scam, use a middleman!

Bro don't feel bad about wearing sterling silver, the majority and I mean the majority of silver you see people wearing is either sterling silver or white gold. Platinum on the rare occasion.

The autism is strong with this one I see 😂

Jk, I also don't like wearing any jewelry at any time either. I don't like them mostly because it gets sweaty underneath and then itchy
No signature required.
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver and another metal, usually copper or nickel, that's stronger and more durable than pure silver. Sterling silver is typically 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper or nickel, and is sometimes called "925 silver" or stamped with a 925. The added metal makes sterling silver less likely to be damaged and gives it a shinier, brighter finish than pure silver, which has a grayish color. Sterling silver is often used in jewelry and other metalwork because it's more suitable than pure silver, which is too soft and malleable for many uses.

Probably would just get Sterling silver for jewelry. Also if you resell the jewelry most the time they give you that kind of price back and not for .999 silver value.

Personally, I would buy them a silver coin or small bar which may get them in to collecting it more, because that is where the economy will end up using some day. You can also buy things with pure silver all around the world, it's a global currency in a sense, same with the other precious metals: gold, platinum, palladium.

Thankyou, do you know much about watches? I have a Tissot T-Race MotoGP Chronograph 2023 Limited Edition and a SEIKO 5 Supercars
Limited Edition. Pretty sure one of these is actually special edition, should I sell that one and keep the other? I was planning on holding these till 2043.

No, I don't know much at all about watches. The ones you mentioned look cool but I've never heard of those brands, and I'd assume the brand of watch plays a big role in their future collective value.

I do know that a lot of jewelry can be bought at pawn shops for near "scrap metal" prices, or entirely just scrap metal prices if you buy enough of it, unless it's a known brand like Tiffany or Rolex.
Its not a big of a difference, i doubt somebody is going to ask you what kind of silver is. And when it comes to durability, as long as you are not slamming it with hammer they are going to be the same.

Don't forget about Patek Philippe and Movado watches. High class jewelry.

This made me laugh. Hahaha.

Just to share to you all, I only wear silvers or golds for rings and bracelets. Too bad I only sold my stuff to pay debts though I still want to buy again once I get back on track or I don't know. 🙃
