The 25th will mark 3 years since I have received the Covid vaccine. I personally received 2 doses of Pfizer.
I have not received any booster shots.
For those of you who are actually vaccinated how are you holding up?
I personally am holding up fine, no issues related to the vaccine, everyone I know who is vaccinated is also doing fine with no complications or health issues related to the vaccine.
Personally, I didn't take it but i'm glad you didn't get any side effects. There's a lot of controversy around the Covid vaccines, I think a lot of it is fear mongering on both sides of the fence.

2 shots and a booster, still most likely to have a longer expect life span than a antivaxer. Sadly no additional limbs grown, would love a third hand to help me in bed.

I am still waiting on the 5G and Magnetic powers.
Did you get Pfizer or Moderna?

Same as SIM-3257834 two shots and 1 booster for me, I'm feeling just as normal as I was without the vaccine. If I could go back and not even get it I would I think. But I did get covid later on in the year and that literally floored me for a week. So time to time I wonder if I weren't vaccinated how worse would've/could've been and OP I got Pfizer

So you can slap your own arse at the same time?
I'm vaxxed and boosted and all that, I hadn't even thought about it in a couple of years tbh, but I'm fit as a flea, if it was a flea that spent all day drinking tea and eating biscuits and dicking around online.

Well so far all of the fear mongering and conspiracy theories from the anti-vax side have not come true, we were all supposed to be dead within a week of the vaccine, then 1 month, then 3 months, then 6 months, then 1 year, I believe now it is up to like 15 years, it constantly changes because the millions are not dropping dead like they said so the goal posts have to continuously move. They also used VAERS to incorrectly push their agenda.
Sure there are risks of the vaccine just like any other vaccine or medication, we knew about potential myocarditis risks before the anti-vaxxers got on to it actually it was a concern of mine which is why I discussed it with my doctor prior to getting the vaccine and she told me based on my medical records and her experience I would not get myocarditis and I did not. This is why I always say talk to your doctor first because risks/benefits might change based on a persons health and medical history.
Unfortunately so many lives have been lost due to Covid, many of which could have been prevented with the vaccine early on in the pandemic.
In regards to side effects I did get normal side effects such as a slight temperature increase but not a fever and a very sore arm for a few days.

I have personal experience myself with Covid that pretty much proves to me that the vaccine likely saved my ass early on. I could explain if you would like.

I experienced these exact same side effects watching Baywatch as a teenager.

I have no idea what Baywatch is, but for me I don't know if you may remember growing up we would get those pains often referred to as growing pains? pretty much the same pain or if you are overly working out and get that muscle pain that lasts for days.
It was like that but probably triple the pain, so not unbearable just very sore mostly when moving the arm.

Genuinely curious if anyone spent any real time learning what is in it before taking it.
Just a single ingredient? PEG.
I can tell you ingredients it doesn't contain as well... Graphite, parasites, nano particles, nano bots.

What made you pull the trigger on it? Like the actual deciding factor?
And now, regardless of you not having anything negative or positive happen as a result of taking it, how do you feel about it?
Oh those are just some of the things anti-vaxxers claim are in it.
I took it as someone who is considered high risk and after talking to my doctor the decision was made, and by the way my doctor had zero benefit recommending it to me because they did not provide vaccines in that office I had to go to the health department.
I also seen what happened with my friends son who was about 3 or 4 years old cannot remember the exact age but her son died from Covid, a healthy kid, unfortunately the vaccine was not around at the time he died.
Another friend ended up on the ventilator and barely made it out, she suffers from PTSD from it and long covid symptoms til this day.
I received during my lifetime measles, mumps, rubella, polio, varicella and others, none of those vaccines harmed me. If I could go back in a time machine would I take the Covid vaccine again during that time? yes.
Will I take a booster currently? no, not unless it starts to be a major outbreak again around me and depending on the severity of the strain.
I don't feel positive or negative about it, it was simply necessary at the time as a high risk person because we already seen many healthy people die from Covid as well as many high risk people die from Covid, not something I personally want to die from.

What's the story behind MRNA and spike protein? I've heard these terms floated about a lot especially in conspiracy circles.

mRNA vaccines have been in development for over 20+ years, it is not as new as the conspiracy theorists make it out to be, it has a lot of potential even for cancer vaccines, keep in mind regular non mRNA vaccines were available although there was higher risks such as blood clots with J&J especially in women.
You can study into mRNA vaccines and spike proteins in medical journals and peer reviewed studies much better than me explaining it, Spike proteins are not new either and are not specific to just Covid-19 although it seems like conspiracy theorists think so.
I learned a lot from watching Tracy Ruscetti who has a PhD in microbiology and immunology.

What made you choose Astrazeneca? I know there was a slightly increased risk of blood clots with it and J&J mostly in women. I assume by your username you are a female so I am curious on your choice in regards to that.
