I had a friend named Anna who lived alone in an old house on the outskirts of town. One night, she heard a strange knocking at the back door. At first, she thought it was the wind, but the knocking grew louder. Worried, she opened the door and found a note that read, "I am right behind you." In panic, she turned around, but no one was there.

In the following days, she heard strange noises and discovered a yellowed photograph one morning that showed a woman who looked strikingly like her. Under it were the words, "You are not alone."

i was really big into the two sentence horror stories, like:
i heard my mom calling me from downstairs. she died a year ago.
i heard my boyfriend playing guitar in the living room. he lives about 2,000 miles away.
they’re really dumb but there are some good ones. those were my shit.
