I haven't seen a thread about this game yet, so I'm starting one.

The game has been available as Free-to-Play since October 1st on Xbox, PS5, and PC.

I've been looking for a good MMORPG for a while, but I've often been disappointed. I decided to give Throne and Liberty (TL) a try, and after a few hours of playing, I have to say that my first impressions are very positive.

Here are a few things I like:

• The dialogue is interesting. I usually skip it when it's boring (like in The First Descendant).
  


• The graphics are good.
  


• The animations are smooth.
  


• There are lots of spells, menus, and features (some of you may not like that, but I appreciate it when an MMORPG is complex).
  


• I like the lore, and I enjoy the world.
  

I've seen a lot of negative reviews, and it seems the game hasn't been a huge success in Korea (where it originated).

I'm looking forward to things like raids and dungeons (I enjoy the multiplayer aspect of MMORPGs, especially when there are multiple players in dungeons).

Is anyone else playing? What are your thoughts on it?

Some of the cons I've seen are pretty rough though, not gonna lie.

I have not actually tried it out yet, I've never heard of it. I really enjoy MMORPG games though, so I'll probably check it out sometime when I get a chance.

I have about 10 hours into now and it's not too bad IMO. It's probably just that I suck but I HATE the combat in the game. There's also a million submenus which at times makes it feel like a mobile game. I also have a hard time finding stuff sometimes, but that's probably just my fault. It's something to kill time with though and it is enjoyable for the most part. It scratches the itch I have until New World release on the 15th as well

I wanted to try New World when it was released (I guess 2 years ago, something like that) but I've heard lot of bad things about it, did they improve the game ?

I'm trying the game out right now, but on the Steam Reviews.

The latest Korean/Chinese MMO I've played is Once Human, put 300 hrs into it and the recent update with the new mode Prismverse made he hate the game and its developers. They always go back on their "No P2W" promises.

Am still willing to give it a try.

I've heard about Once Human and I was tempted to play, and also heard about the P2W, someone said something similar about Throne and Liberty, I'm only level 22 so let's see if they're right.

The PvP is actually very fun. Good game but unfortuanately I refuse to put any more hours into a MMO.

Are you affraid to spend too much time on it and feel like it's a waste of time ? haha, I'm saying it because since I passed 30yo when I play video games I literally have the feeling to waste my time

I also dumped in at least 200 hours to Once Human a few weeks ago with some friends. It was a very fun game but I got bored of it I guess and got tired of playing alone. If I wanted to play with friends I would have to change servers are do character creation all over again :/

Same here, I like the fact that we can switch our class, from DPS, to TANK, to HEAL, as long as you have the stuff. Yeah you can fish but didn't try for the moment.

However the community sounds kinda rude I think, if you're not a MMORPG player they don't accept you in the group for dungeons, lot of people are in a try hard mode I guess, not easy to find groups for dungeon or raids. The quests are ok, it's not easy to get better stuff tho, the only ways are to do the main campaign or dungeons (but not easy to find groups for dungeons when you're not a try hard player). So most of the time I'm playing alone (ironic for a MMO), but there is a lot of things to do, the map is big, you have daily tasks to do and to gain rewards, so far I enjoy it, I play almost everyday at least 1 or 2 hours

What region do you play on? I'm thinking of downloading it rn (I might have it downloaded already)
