Upcoming changes
Refactor is in the process of undergoing some serious changes over the next few days or weeks. Whether I keep the branding or change the brand is yet to be decided. I will be hosting a brief, simple recruitment with the intention of inviting several new members to the group. In addition, I will host some threads to include the community in making some of these decisions about the group's future, because at the end of the day, it is the community that will benefit most from this group's restructuring. See below for some of the already confirmed changes about the group.

Group Concept
One thing that is definitive about the future direction of the group is it's concept. I have identified that two main things lacking in HF groups currently is community centered around gaming and personal life. Thus, these will be the two main focuses for the group. Each sector will have it's own leader, but all leaders will bounce off each other with ideas, and the group's structure is designed to be inclusive and collaborative.

Gaming
The gaming division will serve as a major part of the group and will be an inclusive segment that will bring the whole HF community together. There will be giveaways, prizes, competitions and tournaments. A lot of this will roll out before the Christmas period. We will also run member only competitions and tournaments as well. We would also love to host tournaments between groups. This would require some group owner cooperation and negotiation, which I believe could be very exciting!

It has not been confirmed yet which game titles will be the main focus of these competitions, but the future leaders of this group will play an integral role in deciding which games Refactor will be focusing on. More details are yet to come on who those leaders are.

Personal Life
The personal life sector will operate very similarly to an old SF that I used to run called Wallflowers which from memory was a very successful sector and gained a lot of notoriety and traction. There is a list of topics that this sector will cover. The below areas will be the group's main focus, but we may diverge into additional sub-forums as well, depending on activity.

Personal life topics:

• Innuendo

• Vices

• Health

• Fitness

Current Requirements
No scammers, this means you must not have any active or unexplained deal disputes.
Must be active and post in sub-forums or discord.
Respect to other members. Flaming will not be tolerated.
Minimum account age is 3 months.

Application
There are no official application questions for this recruitment round. Instead, briefly describe what you can bring to the group and illustrate how you can help build a certain section. Let us know what topics out of what was discussed you think you will fit into and why. I will select adequate applications and send these members a request to join VIA PM if you have been accepted.

Good Luck everyone!

Looking forward to seeing this group excel, and to the exciting future to come. I plan on heavily participating in the Personal life sector of this group, as that has been my forte on HF as of late.

[Secrets]

I’m eager to witness and be involved in this journey. I’m intrigued and looking forward to seeing what emerges, knowing there are some incredibly talented individuals among us.

[Purgatory]

I am really excited to see the future of this group! I love everyone in it and it is exciting to see people coming together for a common cause. I hope everything goes well and we keep this journey going!

It will never die off and will be around forever.

Can you share some best practices or tips for individuals?:

Refactor has been purchased and rebranded by Chrome the group is no longer focusing on web development and cyber security. We are looking to focus on gaming and personal life affairs.

Best of luck with the group, I would like to see what you make out of it if you rebrand it.

[StuffSneak]

Would like to be part of a new group from start for sure. I'm huge in to gaming & of course can take part in personal life discussions.

Good luck to everyone & Cheers!

[Astonished]

I'd love to take part in this group should I be given the chance! Here's a bit about me.

I've been a gamer since I was 4, started off with an xbox and a Wii and moved on to PC. I've played everything from Shooters (COD Halo Counterstrike) to survival games (Rust DayZ Escape from Tarkov Minecraft) and even more. I'm relatively well skilled in most games I play actively being Counterstrike and Rainbow six siege but have a broad knowledge about a list of games that would be so extensive I wouldn't be able to remember them all. I have thousands upon thousands of hours put into gaming, perhaps more than I would like to admit. But I spent the last 10 years of my life gaming on a PC.

I firmly believe I would be a good addition to the gaming section of your group and could come up with some great ideas for engagement and giveaways/contests as well.

For the personal life sector, I have quite an experience with the topic of vices. Ranging from gambling to being a recovered drug addict of many years. I would be able to chip in here and there should any of these topics be brought up or discussed!

Currently I haven't been actively posting a lot, but I tend to focus on giving a quality post or reply then as many posts as I can.

Thanks for reading and good luck with everything to come!

We aren't really a sports focussed group, I mean we will allow almost any topic but it's not a big focus on the group.

[Rionxee]

Congratulations and best of luck as you move forward with the group. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

[Seaking]

Always good to see groups up and moving again. I'm looking forward to the gaming section!
