How did you go about building your own ebike? (Oct 30, 2024 06:23 PM)SuseGD Wrote: I personally have never used one and I do not own one, but I have heard very positive things about them. Everything else from bolts, sprocket, to battery have been replaced/and upgraded. A lot of research was put into it tbh. Wow, your campus offers ebikes? That's actually pretty cool, I haven't heard of any campuses actually doing that. Do you utilize the service often?

I do if I check my phone and realize how late I am running and happen to be in the vicinity of where they keep them in order to get to the other side of campus but some of the kids who ride them are obnoxious as f*ck and will ride right at you and swerve off the last minute. I feel like sticking my hand out one day and clotheslining them when they do that. At least be respectable with them, lol. But yeah, it is pretty neat. Yeah, if the campus is offering a service like that, other people should at least use it respectfully. Pretty nice though, that you have that option, you don't have to walk everywhere.

I love my mine - just upgraded the brakes as the original ones were abit shit.
Mine complies with the law though so limited in speed and is pedal assist only. Although if you sit in 3rd gear you can do the pedal motion without any resistance and thus get full electric usage. ![]() |
