If you’re rusty on the basics, grab “The Web Application Hacker’s Handbook” (free PDF floats around here) and run through PortSwigger’s labs—they’re free and browser-based.
For forum etiquette: hit 15 helpful posts first, then you unlock the rest of the boards; till then no links in posts or you’ll catch a warning.

Fair point—most people here won’t hold your hand, but if you ask a specific question (tool choice, error screenshot, walk-through step you’re stuck on) you’ll usually get a solid answer within a few hours.
Search first, then thread.
