I had an answer to this kind of question in another thread: "When did you start coding?"
In essence, just find a way to incrementally learn new things in a way that you find fun. Feel free to bounce around projects in order to learn new concepts, then try going back and re-evaluating how you did older projects and see what you would do differently with more experience under your belt. Rinse and repeat. Game modding is a great place to start. (Nov 19, 2024 02:55 AM)GenericSkid Wrote: I had an answer to this kind of question in another thread: "When did you start coding?" Man it's been some serious years, but I've never sat down and figured out where to start with coding or etc! That\ is why I am refering to you guys!
I started with a free C++ course on Udemy (warez disallowed). The instructor did a pretty good job, it was easy to follow along and has made it pretty easy to pick up other languages.

Some of was a little boring, but I had fun playing around with the assignments. |
