Hostages

Donald Trump has come out and said that if Hamas does not release the remaining hostages before January 20th which is when he takes office there will be hell to pay.

Trump says nothing has been done to free these hostages, 101 hostages remain 7 are Americans.

This is something I agree with Trump on completely, Netanyahu in my opinion hasn't done enough, Biden hasn't done enough, at this point do we even know if the hostages are alive, maybe someone can chime in with evidence on that.

If Hamas doesn't release the hostages then it is time in my opinion for the USA to directly step in and attempt to rescue them and then completely wipe out Hamas and anyone who attempts to help Hamas.

This shit has been carrying on way to long.
How familiar are you with negotiation attempts and Hamas's demands?
A lot has been tried, but Hamas expects Israel to withdraw completely. They are not planning to release the hostages, nor have they planned to.
No matter how Trump gets involved, Israel will not let Hamas leaders live.

As far as negotiations I am aware of ceasefire deals that Netanyahu and Hamas have backed out of. Hamas demands a ceasefire, prisoner swaps and humanitarian aid.

Qatar reportedly backed out of being a mediator because Hamas and Netanyahu were not negotiating in good faith.

I say do the ceasefire, do the swaps, let humanitarian aid in and when all hostages are free if there is any wrong move even the slightest by Hamas go in and wipe them out. At least the hostages will be free.

And me and you both know Hamas will make that slight wrong move which will give Israel the excuse to go back in and do what needs to be done.
They won't release them unless Israel withdraws. They are in for it for their lives. Even if they kill every single person in Palestine and the region around. That one kid that survives will take revenge when he grows up. That's how cycle works.
After flattening almost the Entire Gaza people still be looking for hostages? I swear that's the dumbest shit.

And why dafuq does Murica have to intervene, again, on somebody else's business. Why don't just focus on improving lives and infrastructures on your own country instead? Oh wait, there wouldn't be enough money to steal from there.

Hamas has 7 Americans, it is our business.

But I guess we as Americans should forget about our own people after Hamas decided to be the terrorists they are and attack Israel and take those hostages.

It's not that simple. Once Israel withdraws hamas will do the same again. Hide behind civilians, attack Israel, and again try to maximize the death of civilians when Israel attacks again.
I think Israel has been clear about that. Israeli withdrawal will not happen. As long as Hamas does not lose power enough for someone else to take over Gaza and finish the job, the army will not withdraw regardless of the number of Israeli soldiers killed, which has not been the case so far. A lot of people talk about a ceasefire and think that it will solve the war. A ceasefire is not the same as ending the war. We all know that ending a war is just a pause until another organization is formed and attacking on Israel starts again. Hamas MUST be eradicated and the price must be paid. People talk about Israel and look at events from day to day. The fact is that Israel takes a long-term view of everything and surprises everyone every time. If it weren't so, Israel would have been wiped off the map long ago. If we need to sacrifice hostages for a larger, longer-term goal, so be it.

And how many Americans killed by Israel you ever cared about? That's right none, not until the jewish and mainstream media told you so suddenly yall care about Murican lives. Why don't yall instead channel that energy into making the lives of American people better by improving the health care and education system but i guess it's more important to just keep funding wars beCaUsE wErE aRe sTronk pRotEctoR of pEaCE

Clearly you do not know my stance on Israel of which I have made known multiple times and instead you resort to spewing nonsense.

Israel has bombed hospitals, refugee camps, churches and even mosques which have housed Americans as well as other innocent civilians and guess what? I have called it out many times even suggesting that Biden halt military aid to Israel if they don't get their shit together. So gtfo with the idea that I don't care.

And is Donald Trump the Jewish media? this thread is about the position Donald Trump is saying he will take, do you just make up shit as you go? this has nothing to do with the Jewish media.

It seems you would rather we let 7 Americans and the rest of the hostages die by literally doing nothing at all instead of at least trying. Are you a Hamas sympathizer?.

I am not going to come to an agreement with you on sacrificing the hostages so I will just say that right away and leave my view on that as is.

Do you believe Hamas will not make a wrong move within hours to a day after hostages are released giving Israel a reason to go back in before they could build up again?.

Im not a Hamas symphatizer but im not a genocide supporter either.
Im not the one thinking you can still rescue those 7 hostages alive after flattening the entire region. Make it make sense.

This is your logic:
Quote:If somebody in Los Angeles just kidnapped your mother and use him as hostage, your solution is to nuke the entire California and New York. Then cry pLEaSE brINg bACk mY mOThEr

Sounds very, very reasonable

It is 101 hostages, 7 of which are American, if they are alive which Hamas seems to claim they are then how is it not possible to rescue them? are you saying that Hamas is not capable of releasing them?, if they choose not to they just show the world even more of how much of barbaric scumbags they are and even then US special forces can attempt a rescue, it wouldn't be the first time special forces of major countries have had successful hostage rescue missions.

If they don't release the hostages the US should go in and wipe out Hamas, not innocent civilians and in the process attempt a rescue.

So once again more NoNsEnSe.

I am not sure why anyone thinks US forces can do anything on the ground to save hostages. The last successful hostage rescue operation in Gaza, where 4 hostages were rescued, was planned for 2 months. The army can't just come and rescue somebody like in the movies, especially in Gaza. On two occasions Hamas killed hostages simply because the IDF was operating nearby. 6 hostages were killed in one go as soon as the IDF entered the tunnel. Kaid Farhan Elkadi was saved alive simply because he is a Muslim and Hamas released him for that reason.

That is not that easy. You have terrorists in civilian clothes hiding behind civilians... The Middle East is a strange place, especially when you're at war with religious fanatics and they are not afraid to die. I think the US knows that very well, as it is the world's number one superpower and has lost wars in the Middle East, initially fought with uniformed soldiers. When the Taliban and the ISIS came along, things changed completely. Plus the US was helped by allies (Europe) with thousands of soldiers.

I would really like to see hostages released but I am 100% sure that will not happen easily. It all depends on the Hamas leadership if they want to live. If they don't care about being killed... it won't be easy.
Latest news about hostages deal. https://www.timesofisrael.com/israeli-of...nd-to-war/
[mention=3297465] The end of the war with hamas still around will not happen. Ceasefire for hostages and then Israel needs to do what needs to do. If hostages need to die, ok, Israel did not kidnaped and killed them.

I just believe not enough is being done, but also something to take into consideration is the US has far more experience with such operations compared to the IDF which could potentially sway how successful it might be, obviously not a guarantee. If nothing is done they are probably going to end up dead, if they must die I would rather it happen during rescue attempts rather then nothing at all.

Nothing is ever easy.
