Hello,
Wanted to see if anyone can help me out with links on where to look. Is it on Solana only? And where can I verify token adresses so it's not a honey pot or other scams.
Update 1:
To give everyone an update. Took some of the info I got here. Created a wallet with Phantomwallet, made a deposit of 3.44 SOL and played around on pump.fun. Using https://www.solsniffer.com/ to check on the garbage I’m buying.
Currently up about .55 SOL.
I’m watching from distance more than actually buying, trying to learn what works and what doesn’t work.
Update 2:
My initial investments was 3.44 SOL.
I got up to ~5 SOL but I’m now down to 1.8 SOL.
Why did nobody warn me about investing in shitcoins…
Jokes aside, I expect to lose everything. I have the rest on some random ass shitcoin, hoping for a 1000x. My conclusion is that sure, anyone can make money shitcoin gambling. But to me I feel like if you’re going solo (without groups or other people) you’re playing on extra hard mode?
You can check pump.fun website and also use Phantom or any wallet that trades with Sol from my experience, however I highly suggest you avoid that shit. You ll just eat yourself alive if you sell before it skyrockets or eat a rug pull.

Drives me up the wall when people I talk to talk about shit coins. I have a friend that put 20k into a shit coin, turned it into 150k...left it in there and now it's all gone.

If people buy shitcoins as a fun little gamble then I see nothing wrong with it, it's the people that think if they just drop like $$$ on a random shitty coin and expect to get rich that are dumb imo.

That's true haha, I know I'm losing but I'm having fun doing it haha. It's also never all of my money, just a few hundred.

Yeah that's the main thing, gambling with friends is fun, and is a perfectly fine thing to do imo as long as you know it's just a fun thing and you aren't throwing your last $ into it hoping you'll suddenly make hundreds haha.

Bro, don't get me wrong, but most people that are into shitcoins don't have a spare few thousand dollars to invest into a project like SOL/SUI/ETH blah blah or buy BTC and leave it untouched for a few years (even tho, it will be the best thing they can do tbh) which is why they are gambling on shitcoins and hoping to make a bank.
I got into SUI after reading everything possible both here and on all the channels and threads/tweets and I surely hope that my 2500 SUI can turn to atleast 5-60k before I swap them to BTC and let them rot until 2030 or w/e

Okay???? So they don't have thousands of dollars to invest in Bitcoin (you don't need thousands, you just need to be patient).... So this is even more of a reason to not touch shit coins, you WILL lose. Just like gambling your paycheck which you need to use to pay rent.... Don't do it.
Buy bitcoin and hold. Or look at investing outside of the market.
If you have little money, flip shit on FB marketplace, make a bullshit ebook and sell it. So many things you can do, wash cars, mow lawns.....

I am on the same page with you regarding investing big money into shitcoins, don't get me wrong, but for people with lower standards (hey, not everyone is from the US/Western Eu etc.), I do think that placing 20$ on a shitcoin is not quite a bad idea, compared to buying 0.00020 of BTC and hoping it will reach 1M in a few years and make ~150$ profit

I analyzed over 120,000 wallets and Excel sheets. I found around 18 long-term profitable wallets.
This shows how many people actually lose money trading memecoins.

Thanks for the replies. I know this is not the smartest way to spend money! It's also why I call it gambling, and gambling isn't smart.
