To give everyone an update. Took some of the info I got here. Created a wallet with Phantomwallet, made a deposit of 3.44 SOL and played around on pump.fun. Using https://www.solsniffer.com/ to check on the garbage I’m buying.
Currently up about .55 SOL.

I’m watching from distance more than actually buying, trying to learn what works and what doesn’t work.

no clue what solsniffer is, but:

- rick for pair scanning in a discord or telegram channel lets you get some immediate knowledge about the token to see if its farmed
- a lot of people use a bot called mugetsu, it is paid, to check for fresh wallets, top holder overlap on other coins, and check for bundlers on sol
- use photon or bullx to trade on solana, do not trade on pump ui you will lose trades because of it
- a lot of people buy into shocked, shocked rarely ever misses a scan because they have so many people
- meet people in the community, form groups

if you want to seriously shitcoin, you will blow up your port 10x before you learn what actually makes a coin run

Update 2:

My initial investments was 3.44 SOL.
I got up to ~5 SOL but I’m now down to 1.8 SOL.

Why did nobody warn me about investing in shitcoins…

Jokes aside, I expect to lose everything. I have the rest on some random ass shitcoin, hoping for a 1000x. My conclusion is that sure, anyone can make money shitcoin gambling. But to me I feel like if you’re going solo (without groups or other people) you’re playing on extra hard mode?
