So I have/had really high hopes for this Call of Duty game.
Treyarch usually doesn't disappoint from my experience with their Call of Duty titles.

I think the game is great, zombies is a lot better than the past few years, but still iffy.
My main issue is the SBMM/EOMM. It's pretty much a tournament for me every single match.

If I showed you my past 50 games, it's unbelievable on how close the games are and how bad I had to sweat just to keep the games close.

I think the camos in the game are definitely way better than the last few Call of Duty titles.
What are your thoughts?

I haven't played it too much. I just haven't had much time to get into Call of Duty since MW2.

I think I could get into it. It's solid. I'm not a fan of Omni movement.

Honestly coming from MW19 to MW3 to BO6, not really a fan of the omni movement but the zombies is amazing

Played a lot of this Call of Duty, mainly due to the camo grind, it was like the old CODs like cod4 and stuff, headshots and all that to unlock them, instead of all the previous shit they've done.

However the game overall, I think I burnt myself out with it, I loved it to begin with but now it's, I don't even know how to put it into words, It's not shit, it's not good. Been the far better cods released don't get me wrong, but meh, good but not the best I'll say.

I completed the dark matter grind and got to prestige master while doing that. I then hopped over to zombies because I wanted to attempt the nebula grind. My strategy was to get all the 2000 critical kills needed for every weapon first and then go back and do the rest. I just started on marksman rifles and I had to take a break. I am playing in directed mode and it just becomes so mind-numbing shooting the zombies in the head over and over again. Started to play ranked to take a break from the zombies grind and have been enjoying that. I'm sure once I reach platinum and higher I will be taking a break from that once I run into the cheaters and booters.

Overall though I really enjoy Black Ops 6. Skill based matchmaking will always suck but I think Activision has made it pretty clear that they don't have any plans of ever getting rid of it. I saw a lot of content creators on X were mad that they silent patched the 2 boxing method for multiplayer recently. It does get tiring always having to sweat in multiplayer when you are a good player and never being able to just kick back and play for fun.

I mean I know skill based matchmaking has supposedly always been in the games since way back when but when I started on MW2 it was NOTHING like it is today lol. Honestly, I feel like most cods up until Ghosts seemed to be ones you could genuinely relax and play multiplayer for fun. With people buying all the crazy skins they bring out that is all they really seem to care about. Their latest excuse for the anti-cheat not working in ranked play was a joke... 40+ days left in season 1 and you don't plan on releasing an update for this issue!? Imagine how happy the community would be if they fixed their anti-cheat and only kept EOMM/SBMM in ranked play.

Played a couple of times. Its liberty falls Xmas themed. No mystery box, salvage and tool desk.

So I love black ops 6 but I have some major issues. One is map design, they are fucking awful, granted we got spoiled in mw3. Spawns are still dogshit, this started with Mw2. I don't get it they were bad before but not super super bad like they are now. Warzone to me is terrible although it has been since OG warzone was canned. SBmm of course.

Games great but is still plagued with the issues Cod has been experiencing the last few years.

i haven't truly enjoyed cod since bo2 i honestly believe it went down hill from there. But hey thats just my opinion
