Trump officially loses his marbles

(Jan 8, 2025 05:05 PM)Prepper Wrote:  Yea he didn't mean it though it was just a joke, just like when he mocked a disabled reporter Serge Kovaleski, there is tons of examples.

Anyways all we can hope for is that he actually does a good job which I highly doubt he will based on his record. But this is a terrible start and he is not even in office and MAGA is already having a meltdown in regards to H-1B but I am sure they will eventually change tune and say H-1B is great!.

Such a huge 180 reversal on his immigration stance...

Quote:"I didn't change my mind. I've always felt we have to have the most competent people in our country, and we need competent people," Trump said at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday evening. "We need smart people coming into our country. We need a lot of people coming in. We're going to have jobs like we've never had before."

ah shit, the man literally just needed some Minecraft to scratch that itch.

Also technically if you build a wall, only smartish people will make it over, so this might still fit into his plan.

this is another funny one - Trump says he'll meet with Putin within 6 months
- I guess this is how he will end the war in 24 hours?

Basic question for you, if someone says they do not care about you would you vote for that person to run your country or state/local governments, etc?.

I am still waiting for him to keep his promise, he said he would end the war in Ukraine as soon as he is president elect.

If Biden or Trump told me to my face, 'I do not care about you,' I would still vote for them. My reasoning behind it is the following: at the end of the day, they don’t care about me personally—they care about the state, the people in the state, or everyone in the country.

If one of them says they care about you,
and the other says they do not care about you...

What then?

Saying some provocative stuff to make people think or to control the News Cycle is not insane.

One thing with Trump that I like to ask people who say he's a madman is to tell me what he did (not SAY) but actual actions while he was President 2016-2020 which they'd consider "insane".

Challenge anyone to do that. Start your list if you can.

btw, the insanely biased response from AI...

AI Quote: The characterization of actions as "insane" can be subjective and depends on one's political perspective. However, several events during Donald Trump's presidency (2017–2021) were widely debated and controversial, leading critics and supporters alike to frame them in extreme terms. Here are some actions that were particularly polarizing or unprecedented:

### 1. January 6th Capitol Riot (2021):
While not an action Trump directly orchestrated, his role in encouraging a rally on the day Congress was certifying the Electoral College results—combined with his repeated false claims that the 2020 election was "stolen"—culminated in the violent storming of the Capitol by some of his supporters. This event was unprecedented in modern American history and led to his second impeachment for "incitement of insurrection."

### 2. "Sharpiegate" and Hurricane Dorian (2019):
Trump insisted that Alabama was at risk from Hurricane Dorian despite official weather forecasts indicating otherwise. When contradicted, he displayed a map altered with a Sharpie to support his claim, sparking widespread ridicule and concern about his unwillingness to accept factual information.

### 3. Withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement (2017):
Trump's decision to pull the U.S. out of the international accord aimed at combating climate change was heavily criticized globally. Many saw it as a dismissal of science and environmental responsibility.

### 4. Family Separation Policy at the Border (2018):
The "zero tolerance" immigration policy resulted in the separation of thousands of children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border, with many held in detention facilities under poor conditions. This sparked outrage internationally and domestically, with critics calling it inhumane.

### 5. "I Could Stand in the Middle of Fifth Avenue" Comment (2016):
During his campaign, Trump remarked, "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters." While said before his presidency, this statement followed him into office as a symbol of his defiance of political norms and accountability.

### 6. Meeting with Kim Jong-un (2018–2019):
Trump's direct engagement with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, including a historic crossing into North Korean territory, was groundbreaking. While some viewed it as a diplomatic breakthrough, others criticized it as legitimizing a dictator without achieving significant denuclearization progress.

### 7. Handling of COVID-19 Pandemic (2020):
Trump's mixed messages about COVID-19, including downplaying the virus, promoting unproven treatments like hydroxychloroquine, and suggesting that disinfectants might be explored as treatments, drew widespread criticism from health experts and political opponents. His administration's pandemic response was one of the most contentious aspects of his presidency.

### 8. Charlottesville "Very Fine People" Comment (2017):
Following the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, Trump stated there were "very fine people on both sides," referring to the white nationalist rally and its counter-protesters. This statement drew sharp criticism for seemingly equating the two groups.

### 9. Withdrawing U.S. Troops from Syria (2019):
The abrupt withdrawal of troops from northern Syria was criticized by many, including Republicans, for abandoning Kurdish allies and allowing Turkish forces to move into the region. This move was seen as a betrayal of a key U.S. ally in the fight against ISIS.

### 10. Alleged Discussions of Purchasing Greenland (2019):
Trump floated the idea of purchasing Greenland from Denmark, a suggestion that was met with confusion and amusement internationally. When Denmark's prime minister dismissed the idea, Trump called her response "nasty" and canceled a planned visit.

### Conclusion:
What some consider "insane," others might view as bold, disruptive, or even necessary to achieve a particular vision of governance. These events illustrate the deeply polarizing nature of Trump's presidency and why assessments of his actions vary so widely.

I fucking hate asking AI political questions. The bias is UNBELIEVABLE.

Then there are people like you that get all bent out of shape over words and not his actions. AGAIN...name something you think he's done which is "insane". I even gave you points from AI to get you started. At best leaving the Paris Accord but the rest of it is 100% pure propaganda and most aren't even actions, just WORDS.

So PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOULD STFU.

Omni it's not worth it how you act over politics and I respect you and your site. Can we just refrain from it now? I deleted my posts.

I do agree with this - he says way more crazy shit than he actually does. That's part of the reason I'm holding my tongue (mostly) over politics since the election. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Realistically our worst fears won't come true, and there are checks & balances, mostly.

Trump said a lot of insane things 2016-2020 but the actual list of things that went into action is much smaller like you're saying.
I hope he has a good presidency overall and things get better for Americans.

On AI bias, I think it can depend on how you ask or what you ask for, but there are definitely biases.

Here is ChatGPT's response for 10 amazing things Trump has done:

Historic Unemployment Rates:

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. saw historically low unemployment rates, including record lows for African American, Hispanic, and Asian American communities.

Deregulation:

Implemented widespread deregulation efforts, cutting federal red tape, which proponents argue spurred economic growth and increased competitiveness for businesses.

Not sure where you live but the President of the United States which is the highest representative of the people that includes you if you are a citizen.

For Trump to tell his supporters or who he represents (American Citizens) that he doesn't care about them he just wants their vote then he is literally going against one of his main duties as president.

He told that to a crowd of possibly thousands of voters.

I mean if we don't care about our representatives caring about us then why not just vote in a dictator and end voting all together?.
I love it. Its ours anyways. Its not like Mexico is out there drilling for oil and fishing it.

Nope, that's owner choice. You say shit, gonna call it out. People with you view point need to know how fucked up you are. Otherwise you might make the most of thinking you are intelligent.
