You are truly making it.
How much XMR do you expect to own in 10 years like this?

I know but I will leave it to my grandkids, lol
This is just a test, I am going to hook up an old AMD Radeon HD 7950 rig I used to mine LTC with and see how that does....

I know, I used to mine coins back in the day. I just want Monero.

you can always exchange it on DEX's and stuff. it's all about getting the most out of it ;)

Ya, what's the best coin switcher? I get good rates buying btc but always have to pay up to change the coin.

You should also check to see if you are making the most use of your rig.
For example a script could be bottlenecked by its own processes, with free CPU/GPU unused.

Yes, but what you really want is a lot of Monero.

Definitely look into mining other coins, then swapping to XMR
Worth it probably

Ok thanks for the tips.
Is a AMD Radeon 9750 still good for mining? I have custom cooling fans and overclocked. I mined 20 LTC iwth it, wish I never sold them :(

I am not a miner myself, but if you only mined 20 LTC in the past then I'm going to assume the miner is too slow for modern day hash rates. However, there is nothing stopping you from racking up quite a balance in an alt coin, and sitting on them for a few years. That's what I would do personally in this scenario.

Ok thanks, it was back when the difficulty was high for LTC.

Because you are looking to leave some funds for your kids, you should see what it would take to "mine" some BAT - Basic attention token.
I think you can rack up a bit more $ per day than XMR, and it doesn't need much computing power - just a well-written Python (or similar) script that avoids detection, to simulate browser activity each day.
I am bullish on BAT and think it'll be a good utility token in years to come, so any BAT earned today (almost $0.30 each) could be worth far more, because it represents user's attention to advertisements. It should theoretically benefit from the inflation of the cost of ads alone, but also investor hype, increased usage, and more in the future too!
