Why dont anyone take a pic or video which show them clearly? All videos are from far away

I have 100s, they’re incredibly hard to focus because of the lights on them. They also do like to come in groups, but not always directly overheard

I could have 8 of them come in a fleet and the chances of anything looking like more than blinking lights on my phone are small.

I know some people are using thermal cameras, FLIR, And others to get Better clips

There are thousands of clips out there though, some closer, some further. Ultimately the behavior of them can still be observed even at a distance

I can’t watch video right now but I’ll say that yes, I’ve personally seen the same behaviors in other states, and also out of US in Antigua too

Yep, I would say that’s accurate - I think I know what you mean. The behaviors, drone models, etc are matching across thousands of videos.

I don’t really record the drones anymore unless I think the video I can record is better than others I already have. It’s redundant to keep recording the same behaviors over and over again.

I do still need to go through all of mine, edit out the clips

I think what many don’t realize is that for every video, you can imagine that the person recording was outside in the cold willing to stare at the sky because they knew they saw something strange.

For example in my 10 second clip of a sphere hovering in the blue sky, I had 2 minutes of recording before it where the thing wouldn’t focus on my camera and you just hear me complaining. Before that we watched it for a few minutes, for a total of let’s say 7 minutes - with a 10 second video recording to prove it.

In my area it’s so hard to record the drones

Light pollution + bad camera + distance = shitty videos, even though we can see clearly in person.

For example, in person you can make out lights and their location on the craft. In a video it becomes a blur where you often can’t make out the lights, and just see a glob of flickers.

For anyone recording on phone:
I recommend not auto focusing

It is better to not even zoom at times - zoom on your computer after, not while recording. Auto focus fucks things up majorly
