Install USB network adapter on kali VM

i need to use my tp-link AX1750 on my kali VM, how to i install it or get it to show up for that matter.
sudo apt install gcc
sudo apt install git
git clone https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8188eu
cd rtl8188eu/
make --version
If it’s not found, install it by using the command:
sudo apt install make
sudo make all
sudo make install

and reboot
Should work

You didn't remove apt, did you?

I didn’t. It’s on Wifislax so maybe it is already removed?

You're mostly correct bro
You're installing the rtl8188eus driver, which is for Realtek 8188 chipset, not the AX1750 (which uses RTL8812 or RTL8821).
The correct driver for TP-Link AX1750 should be rtl88XXau instead.

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
sudo apt install build-essential dkms git -y
sudo apt install linux-headers-$(uname -r) -y
git clone https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au.git
cd rtl8812au/
sudo -i
echo "blacklist r8188eu" > "/etc/modprobe.d/realtek.conf"
exit
make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe 88XXau

--verify--
ip link show
iwconfig
lsusb

This will show all network interfaces.

If your adapter isn’t listed, (ur cooked) it’s a driver issue most likely.

Then check usb detection (if tt's a USB adapter) with: lsusb OR dmesg | grep usb

If your adapter shows up, the system detects it but may lack the right drivers.

If they aren't then find out which chipset your adapter uses with: lspci -nn | grep Network

Then load the driver manually with: modprobe <drivernamehere>

If you don’t know the driver, search online for your chipset + linux driver and install it that way.

Also....it could just be an incompatible wifi adapter.

Nice thank you, i really appreciate all the help from everyone. Im going to be on all day tomorrow setting this VM up and hopefully getting it going.

It seems it is incompatible as it doesn't show up 😭
I gave up on the TP link one and ordered an ASUS AX1800. If someone has the lines for that please share, thanks.
What VM are you using?
