I just remembered that when I was two I asked my dad if I caught a bird at the park could I keep it, and my dad said "If you can catch it? Suuuure." I really believed I could do it, and would run and run chasing them.
Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the St. Patrick's Day leprechaun. I always looked for that green bastard in the sky on a fucking rainbow raining down fucking gold. I hate that fucking bastard now.

Lots of re-written stories in parts of the bible and other religious texts + the international templar corporation stuff, the list goes on and I'd rather not bore you.

Of course your dad would tell you that if you'd got better grades, you could rearrange that into a load of carp.
Most outrageous lie I believed as a child was probably the one about mummy taking a nap with a bottle of vodka at 11am being quite normal. When I was about 5 I tried some of her 'medicine' to see what it tasted like. Not good, was the answer.
