Hey there my name is _, I'm a former freemason AMA

So I'm trying to settle into the community, and get familiar with everyone here.

So I figure maybe a down to earth AmA might be entertaining for you.

Up front I'll tell you what freemasonry is not. (At least from my experience.)

- A remnant of the Bavarian Illuminati
- A Satanic Cult (Though they do pray to saints, this has its roots in catholicism)
- The rites and rituals in freemasonry can be thought of as one big religious LARP around lore and king solomons temple.

If you have any questions, please ask away. Even if it seems like bust out the tinfoil hats lol
Welcome to the forum bro, hope u get good experience and gain some too

Find people telling other people they are a mason

That's not how it works officer joe doe unfortunately

Actually I have something I want you to try. Find a local masonic lodge, talk to someone thats a mason. The saying was "ask a freemason to become a freemason". Keep min mind one of the requirements is a belief in a supreme being. You'll likely think im nuts, but just try and see if it yields results for you.

If all is well you want and try to just might become one too.

If all is well you want and to try to just add extra cheese.

"Yes hello, Larp department? I'll take quickest way to be followed home and make it snappy."

Ah so you're just trolling 😆 that is pretty funny
What benefits are there being a Freemason?

That is not at all what freemasonry is. You’re purely spouting your conspiracy theories about it lol. I don’t think you really know any truth about freemasonry tbh. Well, I am a FM along with my partner and it’s good company. Me and my partner have been homeless for the past 7 months nearly, and they have helped a lot. You get a sense of brotherhood and always leave with a full belly lol. It is, for the most part, older folks and I am one of the younger ones in the group. Nonetheless, there are plenty of others my age or at least around my age.

Well its a lot like boyscouts for adults.

Mostly brotherhood, charity work, after you're done with blue lodge, there are a few routes to go, typically the scottish rite, or the york rite. I've also seen some people become shriners.

Have you become a master mason yet? Or a fellow craft, or an entered apprentice?

Personally I didn't even know who he was until just now, and a quick glance over said seminar. It looks like its just the use of psychology to instill a beliefs in oneself. You see this a lot, personally I don't see how its any different from just using psychology or influence on yourself.

Such as positive or negative re-enforcement on top of mental conditioning similar to povlovs classical conditioning experiments when it comes to psychology.

But overall I'd say it looks like a solid program. When it comes to this kind of thing I've followed Jordan Belfort's SLP system. Theres a segment on internal personal beliefs in it.

Your exactly right. I have a friend who is a level 13 mason and members almost never talk about their membership, especially to non-members.
I'll play along even though it's possibly untrue you're a mason.

1. To become a freemason do I need to have any particular skill in masonry or engineering or whatever?

2. Do you have secret hand shakes or hand gestures for greetings of members?
Thanks for sharing your perspective on Freemasonry! It's always interesting to learn about different beliefs and practices. Do you have any favorite rituals or traditions within the Freemason community that you'd like to share?
