condor - V Studio + Copilot = Executable .txt files with layman / no-code definitions

This tool condor lets you write in plaintext, in .txt files and then run as programs.
It leverages Copilot to generate code, and you just write what each file should do.

For example:

main.txt = frontend form
backend.txt = form processing
end.txt = end screen

It could take this and spin up a mini GUI for your program, no problem (according to creators / demo).

Here are some problems:
1. Wow, this is a major security risk. You are letting a third-party generate and run code on your machine.
2. Wow, same reason but you might get bricked instead of hacked.

Then again...
3. It is kind of cool.

But...
4. The end of programming as we know it is coming closer and closer it seems.

I have mixed feelings. On one hand, great. On the other, the last thing we need is non-coders developing full software in their mom's basement because they have all the time in the world. Part of the problem with some of these AI-built tools is that the founders have no ability to maintain it, no ability to debug on their own, and really no tech skills overall - let alone business management skills on top of all that.

We need to get to a point where AI tools offer rapid development & deployment, but have other standards for quality.
In the past, the time spent on a software was indicative of skill or quality (not always, but a lot of the time - you wouldn't see a 13 year old push out a whole app in 1 hour for example).
Now with AI letting anyone generate anything, there are less ways to know who is 'worthy' of a founder title, if that makes sense.

We'll reach equilibrium one day, but for now things remain hectic in the AI world.

If you do want to generate programs from layman explanations in .txt files, here you go - but please be super careful. It's risky and new:

I agree wholeheartedly on the AI part I think its a great tool for debugging and helping do time consuming tasks, but I think programming knowledge is still needed to produce any quality application.

Yeah exactly, there are aspects of engineering that isn’t just raw code.

AI is also notorious for skipping security checks, missing edge cases, and writing code that works but has absolutely no exception handling (or other flaws a non-programmer won’t ask for), etc.

If things like this exist why would someone want to learn to code?
