Looking at potentially making a team to cash in on some of this Lazarus Bounty!
Im thinking of building a bot or something to recursively look through the transaction's and pull addresses which have received funds.
Then once this has been done we can start trying to locate exchanges etc.

This sounds super interesting! I don't know much about scraping crypto traffic, but if it's like web-scraping I've done some of that before. What language/framework were you planning on writing it in? Have you done something like this before? I'd be down to collaborate and learn, but I'm not experienced with that kind of stuff, so I might be slower to get things done than you would like. This also seems fairly time-sensitive, as I doubt there will be much time to monitor these transactions before they get laundered for North Korea. Either way, I'd be interested to see the results!

I can't say im experienced so much in terms of Crypto analysis, However my thoughts are as follows:
1. Create in python a script which takes the primary hacker addresses listed on the lazarus website.
2. Have the script check a blockchain for transactions and have the script follow the transactions until the end of the thread (Gold pot)
3. Attempt to find associated exchange to that wallet.
We will also need to factor in exchanges for other crypto, Has it been swapped for another crypto?
If so we match the transaction with historic data and then check the blockchain to match the transaction amount and time across other networks to see if they have done a coin swap etc.

It's listed more extensively on Lazarus

I was thinking about building something to do something similar , whats the reward for freezing the assets though ?

I've already made 3 reports, they said it will take 1-2 weeks.

Personally i would contact potential exchanges too if they are identified, This may lead to them freezing the funds ahead of the official investigation.

I don't think thats in scope i think you have to notify them as soon as you can

I mean, Contacting the team and the exchange would disallow it to be sent onwards so that the buck stops with the wallet you have.
Surely they wouldn't class that out of scope

Yeah surely , and if they are taking a week to respond it would be worth a chance , just have solid proof it was you that notified them and i guess try and do it the most direct way you can

5% to the entity that assists in freezing the funds.
5% to the first reporters who helped trace the funds, leading to their freezing.
