I wonder.....they technically have life...and eat to live...what do they think about as they whither away?
What do plants dream of when they have an existential crisis? |

I think each plant species is an omni being within itself due to how plants propagate and multiply by division and seeds. It's like the plants never really die nor experience sensation of pain, if you mow your grass the grass grows better and the seeds spread out further and further. They live, grow and travel within infinite possibilities.
Quote:Plants are the most dominant life form on Earth by biomass, accounting for over 80% of the total biomass, while bacteria make up around 12.8% and animals only 0.47%

Im glad to see there is someone on HF just as crazy as i am....
Plants to respond to human speech, they can also sense stress and what not. Thats one reason its nice to talk to your plants when you water/care for them. I assume they are focused on surviving more then anything else whilst dying... also prob not happy you killed them....

They literally give us life...yet humans want junk food...crazy to imagine how much grass is really on this earth (Mar 16, 2025 01:49 AM)Pr0m3th3us Wrote: Im glad to see there is someone on HF just as crazy as i am.... Yessss plants also respond to frequencies which is also what speech is, "vibration" but speciically melodies that songbirds sing cause plants to grow better.
It's interesting to think about what goes through their minds as they reach the end of their lifespan. Nature is full of mysteries.

Fascinating, you learn something new everyday, thanks man! |
