I'm currently searching for a good and free keylogger, something simple but effective for testing and educational purposes. I’m not interested in bloated software with tons of useless feature just something that does the job quietly in the background and logs keystrokes reliably. Ideally, it should work on Windows 10/11 and not trigger every antivirus immediately. Something like the old Predator virus maker tools, where things were more direct and functional, would be perfect.

I'm mainly looking into this from a research and system security perspective. If anyone has any recommendations (especially open-source or lightly obfuscated tools), feel free to share. Also, if there's anything that's easy to customize or rebuild from source, that's a big plus.
