Which programming languages should I learn as a beginner hacker?
None tbh. You should start with the basics in network & OS imo.

  • HTML / JS / PHP / SQL / Python = useful for web hacking
  • C/C++ = low level applications, useful to make hacking programs, malware, cheat engines
  • Assembly = reverse engineering / cracking (like for video games)
  • Pyhon = can be used for a lot of things, especially making exploits and tools, can also be used for malware or cheats but not the best
As Pοιsonlεaf said it's better to focus on the basics, but if you really want to learn a programming language, then I would say Python, beginner friendly, and versatile.
Python is hands down and ole time favorite, flexible, and powerful especially for beginners.
Start with Python—huge lib ecosystem, readable, and every tool (Scapy, Impacket, pwntools, sqlmap) is written in it.
Once you’re comfy, add Bash for Linux glue scripts and JavaScript so you can read / tweak XSS / CSRF payloads.
After that, pick one low-level language (C or Rust) to understand memory bugs; the rest is just syntax.
