What do you mean by "empty" file ? No payload ? No content in the PDF file like texte or images ? Can you share some screenshots of what you selected during the creation of the file ? I didn't test the file, but when I created it and uploaded it on VT, it has been flagged as malicious "Dropper" : https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/91dd...2/behavior

I've followed the steps on this tutorial and the file has been generated : https://jaymonsecurity.com/analisis-evilpdf/

What PDF reader did you use ? Can you try with another one ? Or with a web browser ?
