This is open to everyone who plans to attend Le Hack event in France: https://lehack.org/ (English). This is the biggest event in France, which started in 2003. Its creator, Paolo Pinto, passed away 13 years ago, but the event has continued to grow every year.

I don't expect to see my American fellows here, but maybe some Belgium, Swiss, French mates ? (or the french government ..)

I would love ! I'm actually planing to work in the US in cybersecurity, not planing to emigrate to the US like for ever, but I think it could be an interesting experience for a year or two, and then maybe do something similar in Canada, especially Quebec as they speak french.

I'll for sure do a meet up at Defcon or Blackhat if this project ever happens

Not necessarily, but I doubt other people would come to France for this if they don't live near France (like Belgium and Switzerland, where they speak french).

If non-french fellows would come to this event I could handle conversation in english with them for sure, by the way some of the conferences will be in english

Next time, maybe! There are many hacking/cybersecurity events in France every year.

I know that some HF members meet at DEF CON — I hope I'll be able to attend it at least once.

I love this kind of events and I would definitely attend had I been living more close by. When you mentioned "the French government", I recall the epic video of Emmanuel Macron getting punched in the face by his wife. I don't know why it came to mind. 😆

Certainly a sight to behold! Not sure how it stacks up to the conferences in FR but it is always a blast.

I hope it’s going to be good! I’m going to make a thread to share a few photos, and I hope to attend bigger conferences one day. I think they’re expecting a bit over 3,500 people, which is already quite decent, but it’s nothing compared to the Chaos Computer Club in Germany (16,000), Black Hat USA (20,000), or DEF CON (30,000).

Yeah, they’re clowns. We have a president who’s a former Rothschild banker, who sleeps with a transexual, and every time he sticks his nose into matters that don’t concern us, he just makes things worse (Russia-Ukraine, Palestine-Israel, even in Africa they don’t want him anymore). It’s a government of fools and people accept it.
