Ethical Hacking Student | Eager to Learn & Grow with the Community [Code-29]

Hello HackForums,

I go by the name Code-29, and I’m currently a student with a focused passion for Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity. I'm at the early stages of my journey — learning, exploring, and most importantly, building the mindset of a responsible ethical hacker.

🔐 Why I’m Here:
My mission is to understand how systems work, how they break, and how they can be secured — always with a focus on defensive security and ethical practices. I strongly believe in using hacking knowledge for protection, awareness, and empowerment, not harm.

📚 What I’m Learning:

Ethical hacking methodologies (Recon, Scanning, Gaining Access, etc.)

Networking and system fundamentals

Linux & Bash scripting

Python for automation

Tools like Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite

Practicing on platforms like TryHackMe, Hack The Box, and OWASP Juice Shop

🧠 My Goal:
To become a professional Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) in the coming years and eventually work in a SOC or red team to defend organizations against real-world threats.

🤝 Looking For:

Guidance from experienced members

Good ethical hacking resources or labs

Study groups or people to collaborate with

Real discussions around cybersecurity careers

I’m here to learn, connect, and contribute as I grow. If you have any tips, must-read threads, or beginner resources — feel free to share. I appreciate being part of this powerful community.

Thanks,
— Code-29

Welcome,

You’re off to a strong start — with the right mindset and clear intent. Many stumble aimlessly or don’t know what they’re doing, but you seem fully aware of what you’re building. That alone speaks volumes.

Your foundation is solid. Keep sharpening your skills — don’t just learn the tools, learn to think like an ethical hacker.

If you’re serious about earning your CEH and joining a Red Team, invest time in deeply understanding systems and simulating adversary behavior.

Don’t underestimate this community — everything you need is here.

If you need help, you know where to find me ⬇
