I emailed everyone at my school links to malware sites

I was searching online and came across several links to sites that contained viruses. While using my school computer and school email on Gmail, I started looking up random students' names. I would click on their profiles, then go back to the list of malware sites, copy the links, and send them to the students with a text saying "Please click" or something similar. I think I sent the links to about 5 to 10 people. Eventually, the admin and IT staff who were monitoring email traffic noticed what I was doing. They emailed me asking me to stop and made an announcement over the intercom at my school saying who ever is emailing people with links to stop doing it and I was in class doing all of this while my teacher was helping other students.
You've learned a lesson here about school monitoring systems (or reporting dangerous emails). You're lucky that further action wasn't taken. Also, "Please click..." is just cringey.
Damn , can i ask what was your motive behind it ?
Were those guys your enemies xD

Is your school email not associated with your name at all?
Typically, school emails have your first and last name in them.

Or were you using a temp email?

Let's identify the elephant in the room, why didn't your school block the links to the malware website?
It's one thing to talk about sending malware, but if the network isn't properly secured, that's a bigger problem for the school itself xD!

i am pretty sure no school is properly secured in its own network, you can go on any site doing shady stuff... they literally care more about locking those gaming websites away like crazygames or something like that then these malware sites lol

TRUE. 😂

Back in '05 I was in high school, just trying to explore this shady little hacking site no one even heard of. I thought I was slick.
Next thing I know...BAM, summoned to the office, like I just launched a missile from the computer lab.

I got slapped with a one-day in-school suspension. All because I was curious about a virii generator on a hack forum.
Meanwhile, you could probably download a full ransomware builder and nobody would blink today as long as it’s not named “Fortnite.exe.”

Priorities, right? 🤦‍♂️

hahahahahha yeahh, they do have "rats" for the computers of the students tho, always having an eye on what they are doing, but most of the time you can still bypass that with little to no effort. I bet you can install a whole other OS but if you go to chess.com you can walk yourself to the office lmao.

My school does block malware sites as using a extension that monitors student computer

Just to be clear, you were sending links to people that lead to malware sites, but your school blocks them anyway, so even being "bored in class," you were essentially doing nothing, and then you came here to talk about it? I'm not trying to sound rude. I'm just genuinely confused.
