FTX to begin $1.9B payouts in September as claims no longer disputed




FTX’s next $1.9 billion distribution may include repayments to jurisdictions questioned in an earlier motion that is being rewritten, creditors say.

This $1.9b is being paid out as USD (Not USDT or USDC, no tokens, simply USD value) and will be sent directly to people's exchange accounts. For example if FTX owes you $25k, that $25k can land in your Kraken account as USD, immediately ready to be spent.

This means that the FTX payouts will cause no market sell offs, but it will definitely lead to "new" cash being injected into the landscape.
