Hello 👋
Have yall heard about that app called “The Tea App”
Pretty much it’s an app where women have to download the app and verify with their face proving that they’re a woman. Once they are verified and allowed in, they post images of men in their area asking if they’re a red flag or a green flag. There’s also an option to comment on the persons post. All of this is done “anonymously”. I have a buddy of mine who has his image posted on their and he’s currently going through hardship with his spouse and has to be watched in case he attempts to harm himself. Lots of the posts on this are false/untrue but unfortunately no one can plead their case.
My question for you guys is
Have you heard of this app?
Is it causing disruptions in your areas?
How possible is it to find out who is making these posts or who is commenting on these posts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like a toxic mess. Apps like this are often bullshit, spreading unverified rumors with no accountability like what your buddy’s going through. Tracking down anonymous posters is tough, you’d likely need a lawyer to subpoena app data, but even then, it’s a long shot.

Sheeshhh it is a huge toxic mess but it’s so unfortunate. It can easily be defamation of character and feel like this app shouldn’t of been ever allowed
There are too many groups like that on Facebook, but I've never heard about it as an app before
Surely there should be a female version of this app for men.
Mech i think you meant this thread about the Tea app haha, insane that it got hacked and leaked...
The risk of not taking risk is riskier than comfort.

Whatever is happening right now with the leak photos of women and their data (including I believe addresses and their ID cards) is a real shame. Specially when I see some people have started doxing, roasting and rating the photos publicly.
This is a real degradation of society as a whole. Where we celebrate these kind of stuff. We may not understand it now. But in the future we'll look back as society and wonder where did we lost it.

I have checked the leak/breach. Those women used to comment so bad against us (men).

As much as i do think that these woman shouldnt have said all these things, i dont think doxxing and harassing them will make anything better ^^ Humanity should start to hold together and dont hate on each other! (that gives me a good idea for a new thread later )

Doesn't mean that men start competing to become worst.
There are some things that rarely change. One of them being is that a man is a guardian and protector of his household.
What good is a society if slowly every woman in a household is getting exposed on all fronts like this?

I'm not saying I agree with doxing/harassing the women that used the app (and I would never do it myself) but they definitely asked for it.
The real issue is Apple/Google Playstore approving an app like this. They should be getting slammed with lawsuits.
Why are women allowed to upload pictures of a man, without his consent, for him to get slandered and humiliated without being able to defend himself....?

This is exactly right. Can you imagine if the roles were reversed?
Men uploading Un consensual pictures of women and then talking bad on their names?
The lawsuits would be insane!

They asked for it? They asked to be doxxed and harassed?
