I want to know about server-side cache

Even if I changed the content of index.php file in root folder, the index page still shows the original content, not the updated one. This is because of server-side cache?
If then, how can I handle this?
its not the servers fault, its the browsers. clear cache on the browser and it should be fixed

Yes, it’s likely server-side caching (OPcache, CDN, or hosting cache). You should clear/purge the cache (browser, server, or CDN) or restart PHP/Apache/Nginx. Also just make sure that you’re editing the correct index.php in the right directory.

Thanks for your answer.
Are there any other ways to reset cache than restart Apache or Nginx?
