I didn't like Kirk at all. But there is never an excuse for violence like this - I'm a liberal and the thing I hate the most about my own side is the complete lack of willingness to engage and have a sensible debate like adults, especially at a university of all places. The fact that someone chose to kill him like this really makes me sad.
My thought are with his wife and young family regardless of my opinion of the man.
You know what else is devastating, that a father, a husband, a son, is dead from not only political violence but gun violence at a university making this another school shooting, and not a fucking thing will be done about it.
MAGA will do as they usually do "thoughts and prayers" while political violence will continue against both sides, school shootings will continue, and once again someone will lose a parent, husband/wife and children and back to "thoughts and prayers" we go just to repeat the same fucking cycle over and over again. This shit needs to stop, political violence needs to stop and people need to be able to live safely knowing they will make it home or their children will make it home.

America's biggest problem isn't going anywhere and it's getting so much worse. They need to do what Australia did after Port Douglas. Charlie Kirk openly called for the removal of Constitutional protections, and he also advocated for the illegal invasion of US cities for political disagreements.
A piece of shit is dead, and the country is now objectively safer without his propagandist bullshit online. A win for democracy. this was a man who felt it was acceptable to send troops into cities (literally illegal without an invite from a state Governor). He advocated for military enforcement of politics. He advocated for the use of guns, for disagreements - even if illegal. The irony should not be lost on us. He died because a man used a gun on him, for a political disagreement - something he fully supported throughout his life and tenure as a Turning Point leader. He also advocated that we should not target firearms because of isolated incidents. His death is not an indication of violence in this country, nor is it concerning. People are shot every single day. Charlie would not want us to overreact to this near irrelevant scenario. Anyways, just another day for the rest of us. Well put brother, at the end, would I say karma is a bitch ? My condolences to his your family though (Sep 11, 2025 07:58 AM)Jamika Wrote: How was he killed in this way without anyone noticing the killer’s presence? The same way many other people are killed? People spotted the person on the roof, but how were they to know what was going to happen, and even during that process if they were to alert authorities it would have been way too late anyway, hell some of them may have thought it was part of security, it is not uncommon for security detail to be on roofs.

Throwing every gun you can find on a trash heap only leads to tyranny and fewer mass shootings. It doesn't change people, reduce violence or make society better, but it does keep law-abiding people from defending themselves. Here I'm going to quote the often-repeated statistic that the cities with the highest murder rates have the strictest gun laws. You can argue with me about causality or that a nationwide ban would mean that only the police and cartels could get guns. All the guns on the street would be gone. It is, however, strongly correlated. Oh, I forgot to add that seizing all guns would require repealing not just the 2nd Amendment but the 5th Amendment as well. Completely legal for POTUS to federalize the National Guard, even if it's an extreme step and doesn't solve a long-term problem. It's concerning because it's already clear that people are being radicalized to make their point with murder when they are unable to win a civil debate. You exhaust me.

How was he a piece of shit? 1. Abortion for non-medical reasons is bad. (Takes all the rights away from the father, allows people to act without consequences) 2. Illegal immigration is bad, it destabilizes countries (look at the UK, Canada or any other european country) 3. Transgenderism is bad, its unnatural and clearly rooted in mental illness 4. "He advocated for the use of guns, for disagreements - even if illegal." this is false, he advocated for engaged conversations between opposing sides. 5. "A piece of shit is dead, and the country is now objectively safer without his propagandist bullshit online." You know the internet and country would be safer without free crypters on the internet, allowing poor innocent seniors be targeted by idiots like yourself. People are not ASSASSINATED every day, that's a flat out lie.. For someone that thinks he's a piece of shit, why do you know how he would want us to react to this scenario. @Admin this is the kind of people you let become "Vendors" on your website (Sep 10, 2025 08:20 PM)Hsdtf x Wrote: Well put brother, at the end, would I say karma is a bitch ? Anyways I am staying out of this thread just thought thought I would point out your mention mistake for future reference. |
