Best/Most recent open source Crypter?

I know decently functional crypters are rare but I'd love to find one that actually is functional and doesn't have a 1 line dropper hidden somewhere in the code - despite detection rate, just looking to study the code and modify it to learn how / which detections are changed by which code changes.

(I know I can go to Github but want to see if anyone has recommendations here too)
Did you try looking on HF?

I know for a fact there's some older OS projects on here.

Literally as I'm writing this I can see one in the Possibly Related Threads box:

Thanks, this is a good example, but I want to clarify that I did build this for fun, and it's more about the dev workflow than the stub.
If you use this, you should expect to modify it.

My "best crypter" would be related to PEB & memory methods, whereas NCrypt is a process method being used in the stub. NCrypt's main use case was to create a series of tools that can be swapped out, and to use TCC (Tiny C Compiler) to offer people a way to recrypt without any dev dependencies. You can also compile with any other compiler if you choose to, swap out stub, or swap out other parts as-needed.

This next one is by far my favorite because it's a variation of a PEB method I called Lucid Dream DMT (Data Management Tool). It was a lot of fun working and learning about imports, IAT, remapping, internals, and more.

I unfortunately do not have source for my final Lucid copy, and Bubble was spun off of a in-prog version of Lucid.
The final Lucid was cool because it really brought everything together from HellsGate/Tarus/Halo/variations, Syswhipers concepts for internals, and all that comes with it.

Here are some other fun ones I built and shared:

- These were fun because my goal was to show unique ways to share an open source crypter via pip install or npm install. I especially enjoyed making a JS Crypter because I was laughed at for suggesting it's possible. Of course it's possible, it's just leveraging Node in runtime to push a binary out.

These two were forks of other projects that I spun up into more modern versions. They are still primitive though comparatively:

Good luck. I do not sell crypters, I do not builder crypters, I do not use crypters.
I made all of the above tools & threads for fun, and to learn C/C++ and for general prototyping.

Research & educational uses only.

I can't offer any dev support for these tools, but if you have questions I'm happy to answer.
If you run into any issues with a stub, it's most likely related to .NET or 32 vs 64. It can be updated fairly easily for any base PE, but I did not do this in all codebases.

Yeah I've seen a few on github and some here but wanted recommendations from other users on what their opinions are or what they've work with first hand 🙃 There's so many methods and types of crypters I'm still learning so always looking for input from others who are more knowledgeable or have more hands on experience with this or that

Much appreciated Nodes, plenty of reading material for today/night :-D
