I used to love playing skate 2 and 3 and now there is a new skate 4 that you can play for free
I have been playing it and it is fun but i dont think it compares to the originals. its still in development though so i will be following it and seeing if it improves

would recommend playing it. i dont even do much of the challenges in game i just listen to some music while skating around

I've seen a few different people stream it, but it's not what I expected the game would be like. I didn't play the previous skate games to be fair, but when I saw this new one I literally went to my friend who have played the previous ones and asked if this is actually anything like those previous games. I know it's just early access as well, but I feel like all I see people do is try to do some crazy trick in the same spot off of a building or something over and over and over haha. Not to say that can't be fun of course, obviously it is to many, but again it just isn't what I expected it to be.

I guess the kind of thing I described is just what a lot of people prefer to do usually? I went to multiple streams and they'd be doing the same thing. Again though, it's early access so it's probably easier and more appealing to just default towards something like that versus if you had the full game, that progress would save for, you have access to everything on, etc, you'd surely be more inclined to actually PLAY more of the game.

I feel the same way mate — Skate 2 & 3 really set the bar high, so it’s tough for anything new to capture that same vibe. Skate 4 does have potential though, and since it’s still in development, there’s a chance it will improve a lot with updates. I also enjoy just cruising around in free skate mode with some music on, it’s relaxing and makes the game worth checking out even without focusing on the challenges.

What about the Tony Hawk games? While I never got into Skate, I did love the Tony Hawk skateboarding games.

I also used to be into skateboarding but as ive got older i havent skated in at least 8-10 years for me
my childhood was skating, listening to punk, gaming and being on the pc hahaha
